Are you willing to kiss the Cardiff we love goodbye? Are you too busy to care?
Cardiff Needs You!
Now is the time for you to standup for the character of our community, residents view corridors, and your quality of life, if we hope to stop the bulldozers.
Unfortunately, some of the people on the Cardiff Specific Plan Review Committee support allowing owners and developers to construct a large number of rental units above commercial and office buildings from Glenn Park to Cardiff Elementary School.
- Do these individuals represent your feelings and desires?
- Do you want outsiders to take over your downtown?
- Do you want Cardiff to look like every other high-density city?
- Do you want to loose the beach town character we all love?
- Do you want developers controlling your life for years?
Please attend the Cardiff Specific Plan meeting 6 p.m. at the Encinitas City Hall on Tuesday August 21, 2007. Tell the committee that you do not want mixed-use development or your community overrun by year round outsiders. Cardiff is too precious to let a few self-serving individuals destroy it. Fight for what’s right.
At this point, only people power can preserve the future of Cardiff as a beach town.
Thank you,
Andrew Audet,
President
